There has been so much hype about gastric bypass surgery these days. Just when you thought silicone bands were only for your wrists, now they are for your stomach too. The medical industry has went one step further and introduced a new weight loss surgery called LapBand. It is very much like Gastric Bypass Surgery but without the stitches and staples. The surgeon puts a silicone band around the top part of your stomach creating a new, smaller, stomach. You eat less because your stomach is smaller and makes your brain think you are fuller faster.
