Among other issues, we just got back from the beach and found out that we have to be out of our apartment by October 1st. The owners of the complex have sold the property and the new owners are converting the entire complex to a complete low income assitance property. Our income level is too high to stay, even though it is still not grand. We have to find somewhere else to go in a short amount of time. In a way, it might be a good thing. We live on the second story, and it is difficult to carry Jayden up and down the stairs with me being pregnant. Hopefully we can find something near my Mom though. However, Jake is in the process of being promoted to manager so we might have to move wherever they put him.

I'm Back
There has been a huge problem with blogger lately. Thousands of blogs have been reviewed and blocked for being spam. Some blogs were blocked when they were not even spam. My blog was down for about a week. I found out that I had added a "widget" which is one of the things on the side bar that was being considered as spam. I'm back now but I am in the process of deciding if I should switch to WordPress instead. I'll let ya know if I switch.

Baby Drama
I thought that I should comment about the name that we are giving our next son. Apparently, there seems to be a rift about the fact that we had chosen Silas Tanner, which is two names from my side of the family. When we had Jayden, we gave him Jake's middle name so that he would have his initials. Jake and I were in agreement that if we had another boy that I would get to name him and then Jake would name it if it was a girl.
When I found out that I was pregnant again, I thought about Tanner Blake for a boy. Jake liked Tanner but the name Blake just did'nt feel right. When I had my first ultrasound, before I even found out the sex, the first thought in my head was Silas. Anyone who has been pregnant can agree that you connect with the baby enough to feel what the child is going to be like and the name Silas just spoke to me. My Grandpa Silas is one of the most important men that was ever in my life. He helped raise me and it has always been hard to get past his death. I felt that naming this next child after him would be a great way to honor the man that he was. His name means something, it stands for something, and to me, it sounds strong, which is what this child feels like.
Even though it was my turn to name the boy, I chose Tanner because I knew that Jake liked it, and it sounded good together. Jake also agreed with Silas because he knew how much my Grandpa meant to me. Yes, it would have been more ethical and fair to use a name from his side of the family, but we felt that none of the names went with Silas. Which brings me to my next issue: why are people feeling as if Silas Tanner was not a joint decision and only primarily my choice? Just because it is family names from my side, people automatically assume that Jake would not prefer it? People need to know that everything we do in our marriage is a joint decision, 50/50. The only way that the two of us can be married is to compromise, which is the way it is supposed to be. I should also include that Jake is much more opinionated than he seems, and he would never just go with something in order to make me happy. If that was the case then me and him would never have had to work though certain issues that caused us a rocky marriage in the beginning.
The issue seems to be that people are conversing behind our backs about the fact that we are not using a name from his Dad's side with the name Silas, and that Jake had no say in it. The problem is that I had no idea about these feelings from other people. Jake was the only one that heard these false allegations and then he talked to me about it because it was bothering him. I had contemplated using one to make it fair because I knew we were going to have an issue from other people but Jake felt that since it was going to carry on the family name that, that is all that his Dad and Pawpaw cared about. His Dad even thinks that Silas Tanner is a good name. I feel silly even talking about this but I had to get my opinion out there and since this is my blog, I'm entitled to vent.
The point is that we should not worry about what others are saying and we have learned a lesson from it. We both care too much about what other people are saying and it is not going to happen anymore. We still have many months before I deliver, and we might change our mind multiple times about the name. So, Jake and I have decided that since there seems to be so much opinions about what we should name our child that we are keeping our final decision a secret. We don't want to be influenced by anything that anyone has to say. End of story and venting episode.

ChaCha
I just posted about the search engine that makes money for you while you work. I thought I should also let everyone know about another job lead that I found. While many of you that work from home are probably already aware of, ChaCha is a company that allows you to work from home at your own convenience.
The company currently teamed up with some of the major cellphone companies, and has made a program where cell phone users can text questions such as "where is the closest pizza restaurant on this street in such and such city?" If you join the ChaCha team, your goal will be to find the answer. You get paid about .20 cents an answer and you can choose to have funds deposited into your checking account or you can get a debit card. I opted out of the debit card because it charges you a fee each time the balance is updated. The reason that I am correlating this post with the previous one about the search bar is because you can use the search bar when you are searching for chacha answers. Not only will you earn a little bit of income with ChaCha, but you can earn money with the search bar.
There is a bit of training involved with ChaCha, but it is just showing that you can search for answer and your typing speed. You have a short amount of time to find the answer but if you enjoy working on a deadline or under pressure then it is the perfect job. Visit ChaCha for more info.

Make Money While You Search
Just thought I'd fill everyone in about this new search engine that I found out about through wahm.com It is called scour.com and each time you use the search engine, you earn points that can be cashed out for visa gift cards. I just signed up and I already have 350 points just for downloading the tool bar and inviting a few friends. You earn about 4 points for each search, and while this is not a lot, it is free money that will add up over time. If you use the search bar as much as I do each day, then you can earn a great deal of money.
From what I understand, the earning system goes something like this:
25,000 pts= $100
12,500 pts= $50
6,500 pts= $25
Please do me a favor and tell them I referred you. It would help me out :)

It's a boy!
I've been having to go to the OBGYN these past two weeks due to fluid leakage. Luckily, everything is fine and I'm not leaking anything serious. An added benefit is that I have been able to have 3 ultrasounds, which is much more than I ever had with Jayden. I have not had the big ultrasound yet, but I was able to find out that it is a boy. When I went last week she told me that it looked like a boy but it was still a little early to tell. Today, the "turtle" was much bigger and you can see it right away.

1st Birthday!
Super exciting day today! Jayden is officially one year old. Last year at this time I was in an extreme amount of pain, but look what it brought me. He was born at 5:15 in the evening. Of course, he came much quicker than any one expected. Jake's birthday is tomorrow and he will be the big 21.

Baby's First Picture
Last week the doctor was a little concerned because my uterus was measuring larger than it should. She said that I was either farther along or that there might be more than one baby. So, she scheduled an ultrasound for today. According to the Specialist, I'm still on schedule, at 12 weeks and there is only one baby. It was too early to see the sex of the baby. But, the top picture is a great view of the face and it reminds me so much of Jayden. I know the pictures are showing up small on here but my computer let me click on them and they maximized.

Be Weary About Using Your Debit Card at Walgreens
I wanted to give everyone a warning about using your debit card at Walgreens. My parents have had a source from a location in Spain access their debit card number after paying at Walgreens. The first time they had no idea that the person had accessed the store's database at Walgreens, but they were fortuante enough to get the money back. It happened again with my Dad's debit card this time, right after they made a purchase from Walgreens. It is the same Spain destination. The scary fact is that these overseas places and even creeps in the US will hack into the register databases at major chain stores. Their bank was going to file a police report the first time, but since the stupid jerks are overseas it is harder to track them down. I love Walgreens but I would use cash or credit if you shop there for a while.

Charleston
Jayden also took his first trip to Charleston last weekend. Nathan had a cubscout event on the Yorktown Battleship, and we tagged along.

21st Birthday
I celebrated my 21st Birthday last week. I wanted to skip this birthday because I'm not actually able to go out and celebrate like all of the other 21-newbies out there due to my pregnancy. However, my family and friends made it worth it. Plus, I'm craving birthday cake like crazy so it was worth the celebration.

Gone to the Beach
I have neglected my blog and many events have happened. Jayden took his first beach trip 2 weeks ago. He was scared of the water, but since then he has decided that it is OK. We didn't stay long but it was nice to get away....
